What do you get when you mix a kid-friendly, super sprint duathlon with a few surprise adventures and set the course on a farm in late October? The Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knill's Farm Market!

Registration will open on June 1, 2013.

ABOUT THE KIDS ADVENTURE BOOATHLON
Now in its fourth year, the Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knill's Farm Market is one part duathlon, one part adventure and several parts fun! Open to children ages 6 to 15, the Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knill's Farm Market will challenge children physically and mentally, combining a .75 mile run, 2 mile bike and .5 mile run with a few surprise adventures in between! The .75 mile and .5 mile run courses will be cross country style over grass fields, while the 2 mile out-and-back bike course will follow a flat, unimproved private road closed to traffic. Skinny-tired road bikes and bikes with training wheels are not allowed. And, to make sure we keep the "adventure" in the Kids Adventure BOOathlon, this event is not timed.

The event will be held rain or shine. Truth is, we'd love for it to rain a few hours before the race just to make things interesting! And, since a race is only as good as its swag and post race food, in addition to an experience your child won't soon forget, all participants will receive a finisher "award," a Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knill's Farm Market premium item, yummy post race food and drinks, and will be eligible for door prizes.

Families are encouraged to enjoy all that Knill's Farm Market has to offer before and after the race including a farm market, hay rides, a corn maze, pumpkin picking and a couple of the most outspoken goats you'll ever meet!
